Located just outside St. John's in scenic Mount Pearl, Admiralty House Museum will fascinate you with artifacts from the region's past, wireless communication and the tragedy of the S.S. Florizel.
Enjoy fascinating, surprising, and once top secret stories. This historic building was originally constructed in 1914 by the Marconi Telegraph Co. during World War I as the top secret H.M. Wireless Station for the British Royal Navy. This station, now the last standing of 13 around the world, was built to intercept secret German naval transmissions, track icebergs and ships in distress.

Bring your Girl Guide group to the museum on Saturday February 18th to join other girls around the world to celebrate Guides on the Air. We'll show you how to talk on the radio and how to make your very own! Badges are available for $2.00 each. Otherwise, the event is free.
